Chief Vision Officer

James, a seasoned business developer, has made a career out of growing client bases, creating partnerships and developing new revenue streams, most recently as Client Services Director for a subsidiary of SEEK, one of the world's largest job site owners.

James is an insatiable foodie, an aspiring artist/writer and a digital nomad; in 2023, he'll be in Indonesia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the USA, Australia and Japan.

For fun and the freebies he also represents Macquariedale Organic Wines to the hospitality industry whilst he travels, having shared space with them in Australia when he owned a restaurant in the Hunter Valley.

James created HiR while a frustrated job-seeker in Australia.

He is responsible for HiR’s vision and values, and growth.

Catherine Harris

An accomplished recruiter and respected leader at Singtel Optus, Catherine served for more than five years as Head of Recruitment and then Business Manager to the Managing Director, before taking time out to be Mum to boys Jackson and Lachlan.

Catherine is now an accredited Strengths Profile practitioner working with clients and organisations to bring out optimum engagement, performance and happiness.

Catherine is the creator of Project ROAR a career acceleration initiative specifically tailored to empower and help participants build a wildly successful career whether it be proactive whilst in work or as the result of unemployment or a return to the workforce. 

A successful consultant, Catherine has worked in the talent development and advisory space for the last ten years and is the MD of Charris Talent.

Katherine Foley

For more than twenty years, Katherine has been in the conversation for thousands of hires.

Katherine is currently Head of Talent Acquisition at Junior Adventures Group, a childcare and education services provider operating in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

As Mum to Daniel, Dylan and Callum, she loves working from home and pursuing her career and is committed to helping others do the same.
